Biological Fly Control, Yes or No! I SAY NO, NO, NO, to SPALDING FLY PREDATORS

Hate those pesky filies, so I thought I would try Biological Fly Control and get a head start before fly season began. I ordered the insects/pupae from Spalding Fly Predators, spread the Fly Predators as directed and waited. I live in Scottsdale, Arizona and before many of the pupae could emerge they were eaten by ants and birds. Ants got the ones I partially covered and birds got the ones out in the open. I clean my stalls every day, bag the manure and put it all in a closed receptable. Are any of you having success with this method of fly control? Please let me know your secret or is this a waste of money? I spoke with a man there in customer service about my problem and he was no help at all. He refused to refund my money and basically said “tough”. You find out what a company is really like when you have a problem and see how they deal with it. Spalding Laboratories won’t stand behind their product. Now that I have given it a chance to work, I say “save your money”, go out to dinner, whatever, but don’t buy this junk…a complete waste of money!
